20% of the population in Portugal already has both doses of the vaccine against Covid-19

The latest vaccination report states that 5.7 million vaccines have been administered since the beginning of the process.

By this Wednesday, June 2, 20 percent of the population in Portugal had already been vaccinated against Covid-19. The number was presented by the SNS (national health service) in the most recent report on vaccination in the country. In total, 5.7 million doses were administered.

Which means that almost two million people are completely inoculated in Portugal. With just one dose, the number reaches 3.8 million. In the age group of over 50s, 77 percent have at least one dose and 39 percent have full vaccination.

The forecast is that by the end of June the country receive over 4.5 million vaccines to continue this process.On Tuesday, June 1, Vice Admiral Gouveia e Melo revealed that from August people between 20 and 30 years old would begin to be vaccinated in Portugal.
