Measures imposed by the government to combat the pandemic of Covid-19 could continue until Easter. In this way, the time of the constraints will be longer than initially expected.
The “Correio da Manhã” newspaper is reporting exclusively that the relief of the rules will be only when Portugal registers about two thousand daily cases of the disease. The newspaper also writes that cafes and restaurants should remain closed until the end of April. If so, they can only operate on take-away and home deliveries, as is happening since the beginning of this confinement.
This new information comes at a time when Portugal has more than 145,000 active cases of the disease, 14,158 deaths. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our country has resgistoted 765,414 cases of the new coronavirus.
