The 40th edition of the 10 kilometers of the Corrida do Tejo on Avenida Marginal takes place again, in person, on the 19th of September.

Due to the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic, the event took place in virtual format in 2020, however it managed to gather more than 5,000 participants. This format is maintained between year. In practice, you will either be able to take the test in person or online. In order to ensure the safety of all runners, the race will have four distinct matches with one hour apart. The start is scheduled for 8 am on the 19th of September.

In this edition, the subscription revenue will be reverted in its entirety to sponsorship of sports scholarships for children and young people who were forced to leave the sport due to the socio-economic constraints of the pandemic, allowing them to participate free of charge in modalities of local clubs in the 2021 season /22.

The 40th edition of the Race also celebrates the history of 40 years of sport with the exhibition ‘Challenging freedom – 40 years of Sports in Oeiras’. Enrollments can be made until September 10th or until they reach 4,000 participants. Applications can be made online.
