A group of artists had as its starting point the life and work of the Mexican artist to create an interpretation of her influence in the world as a woman.

“Imperfeita” is the new exhibition of Collective 284, in Lisbon, in honor of the woman. “From warriors to queens, from activists to presidents, from philosophers to scientists, from artists to matriarchs, women have left their indelible mark on different aspects of culture and helped shape the world. Women who have contributed to the advancement of knowledge in every way,” the organization explains.

Several artists, “from the most to the least known, exploring different techniques and creativity” present a reading and expression of what will have been the life of this fascinating artist in pieces in augmented reality. In this way, there is “a perfect marriage between art and technology”, providing an immersive experience.

Curated by Clara Afonso, professor of design and design, 17 artists present their interpretation of the artist’s legacy, with emphasis on the works of Adriana Scartaris, co-founder and creative director of Collective 284, Angela Canabrava B., Cristina Ravagnani or Gonçalo Mar.

The exhibition is open until 26 June and can be visited between 15.00 and 19.00, Monday to Saturday. Admission is free.
