The ticket costs 25€ and includes access to all concerts in fado houses, without mandatory minimum consumption.
There are more than 100 artists gathered in several fado houses, during three weekends in Lisbon. Festa do Fado is the new guide for traditional Portuguese music. For 10 days you will be able to visit all the participating Fado Houses, in the various neighborhoods of the Portuguese capital.
The party will pass, for example, the Casa de Linhares, the Fado Club — both in Alfama — or A Severa, in Bairro Alto. On weekends from 28 to 31 October, from 5 to 7 November and from 12 to 14 November, for 25€, you can listen to all concerts, without mandatory minimum consumption.
Plus, there’s a 25 percent discount on dinners and a 50 percent discount at the bar. The ticket can be purchased on Ticketline or at the usual locations. Then you have to exchange it for a bracelet at the Fado Museum.
You will also have to reserve a table in the houses, calling directly to the participating spaces. The artists vary depending on the house, and you can hear, for example, Jorge Silva in the space “Fado em Si”. Learn more on the organization’s website.
