The organization has invited 25 designers and will broadcast the parades through various online platforms.
25 designers in 25 digital presentations that mark the return of ModaLisboa. The first event of 2021 takes place between 10 and 14 March (Wednesday to Sunday) and will be, for the first time, exclusively digital.
“No fuss at first. Without the lights slowly going out for the sound to rise hard. No applause at the end. The parades were stripped of all their surroundings and atmosphere, but now they bring us their core: the pieces, the creativity, the concept, the fashion”, write the leaders on the official website of the organization.
ModaLisboa proposes a new way to experience high fashion in times of pandemic. As happened in October last year, a season will not be imposed for the presentations of the Portuguese creators, so that they can freely show their work.
The exclusive invitations, they add, were exchanged this time for a full and free access to all modalisboa platforms: the website, the app (available for iOS and Android) and modalisboa TV app for MEO customers.
With the theme “Comunidade” (Community), the organization will also present a parallel program that aims to enrich the thinking of fashion in Portugal – but no further details have been announced.
