Sintra’s parks is the world Leading Conservation Company
Parques de Sintra won, for the eighth consecutive year, the World Travel Award for “Best Company in the World in Conservation” (World’s Leading Conservation Company), a distinction that again recognizes the effectiveness of its management of the property values entrusted to it, at a time when it faces the challenges arising from the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite the sharp drop in revenues, the company, whose investments are made only on the basis of equity, has managed to remain an international reference in its area, the result of the reinvention work it has carried out. The winners of this year’s awards were announced last Friday.
Internationally considered the “Oscars of tourism”, the World Travel Awards aim to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in all sectors of tourism. With competitors from all over the world, the awards represent one of the most important distinctions that companies in this field can receive, being the brand recognized globally as a quality seal. The vote is conducted by the general public and by tourism professionals.
