Lisbon Half-marathon with 16,500 entries!

The Lisbon half-marathon, to be held on 22 March, already has a full complement of entries, about two months before the race, revealed the Marathon Club of Portugal.

According to the Portuguese Marathon Club, besides celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Lisbon half-marathon will also be the first race of the new international Superhalfs circuit, created in September 2019 and which brings together half-marathons: Lisbon, Cardiff, Copenhagen, Prague and Valencia.

“Exhausting the entries in record time, is a sign of the vitality of the Lisbon half-marathon and that the Portuguese Marathon Club continues promoting its races in Portugal and abroad. Celebrating 30 years with this number of participants is a stimulus and the realization of a dream”, said Carlos Moia, Marathon President.
